Arnie is back in three new illustrated chapter books. As Mr. Bing's new pet "doughnut dog" Arnie gets to tag along as Mr. Bing as he gets ready for the bowling championship. When the night of the championship, Mr. Bing starts rolling gutter balls, Arnie, along with his goofball friends sort through the shenanigans and solve a mystery! Or, read Invasion of the UFOnuts when Arnie finds himself in trouble when his neighbor tells reporters she was an victim of an alien abduction from outer spastry! And then Arnie gets abducted and needs to think fast in order to rescue his fellow doughnuts. Or, read Spiny Icky Showdown where Arnie is involved in a traveling game show that comes to town. Arnie and his buddies can't wait to participate in the crazy obstacle course.

ASK (Authors Specialist and Knowledge) is a process that provides students with the opportunity to interview an author or a subject specialist in the topic they are reading about in a novel. The program uses excellent literature, journal writing and interviewing to promote reading for understanding.
