Take videoconferencing to places it has never gone before with the PolycomRealPresence Apps for the iPad and Andriod device. Join us for this two-part session to demonstrate the power of desktop videoconferencing enhancement to classroom to classroom collaborations. Participating schools will develop an understanding of how the Poluycom CMA server can be used in the K12 classroom with desktop and iPads.

April 25th - Session 1 - Welcome to RealPresence

This session will be cover the following topics:

• Overview of CMA
• Installing RealPresence on your iPad
• Overview of the iPad App
• Demo of the CMA client on desktop computers

May 2nd - Session 2 - Using RealPresence in the K12 Classroom

This session will cover the following topics:

• Combining IVC with RealPresence
• RealPresence as a Standalone - with a webcam, Logitech Conference Cam, iPad VGA adapter and iPad Apple TV
• Simulation of a classroom to classroom collaboration

Participants in this session will have the opportunity to test drive this amazing application and connect to other educators. Included in these two sessions will be a 3-month demo account and access to the RealPresence App for the iPad or Android tablet (Participating sites must supply their own iPad or Android Device).

NORT2H has been providing school districts across the country technology professional development via videoconferencing for over five years. NORT2H has used videoconferencing to bring a variety of topics geared towards 21st century learning strategies.
