Faced with the challenge of total blindness, Jim Stovall has gone on to become a National Olympic weightlifting champion; an Emmy Award winner; the President and Co-Founder of Narrative Television Network; and a world-renowned author and speaker. One Season of Hope is the first in Mr. Stovall's Homecoming Historical Series that combines a story at a high school and a link to a historical figure. His first is a combination of emotion, wisdom and hope told through the perspective of Glen Fullerton, “a man for the last forty-two years in the Truman High universe, simply known as Coach.”

ASK (Authors Specialist and Knowledge) is a process that provides students with the opportunity to interview an author or a subject specialist in the topic they are reading about in a novel.
